Alan has made a career of insurance and real estate sales since 1971. He has been licensed to sell insurance since 1975 when he partnered with Claude Timmins to form the Timmins and Blum Agency. He specializes in commercial lines, farm and crop insurance. In 1986 he was named Citizen of the Year by the Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2004 he was named Outstanding ILCC Alumni. He has also been the chairman of the Estherville Industrial Development Corporation for the past 20 years. Al is a well-respected business professional not only in Estherville, but Northwest Iowa. He is a life-long resident of Emmet County and is married with two grown children and two grandchildren.

Bill Leonard

Bill has been involved in the insurance and real estate business for 30 years. In 1981 he became partners with Al Blum to form the Blum & Leonard Agency. Bill primarily oversees the real estate functions of the agency. Prior to forming the agency, Bill was an officer with the Estherville Police Department. Bill continues to serve on the Emmet County Compensation Board and is a past board member of ECHO-PLUS Adult Handicapped Facility. In his spare time, Bill fishes the professional Walleye circuit. Bill has been a resident of Estherville for many years. He is married with two grown children and five grandchildren.

Nancy Danielson

Nancy has been a licensed insurance professional since 1985 and has a total of nearly 30 years in the insurance industry. Nancy specializes in assisting the commercial and farm clients with their insurance needs. Nancy is a life-long resident of Emmet County and is a wife and mother of three grown daughters and most recently became a grandmother.

Sally Anderson

Sally has been with Blum and Leonard since 2004 and has 15 years experience in the insurance industry. Sally is licensed to assist you with all your personal insurance needs, including life, health and Medicare supplement coverages. Sally is a life-long resident of Estherville and is married with two daughters and two stepsons.

Lori Keeler

Lori has been with the agency since 1995 and assists our clients in handling their insurance claims. Lori is also licensed to assist you with your home and auto insurance needs. Lori is a life-long resident of Estherville.

Bob Schacherer

Bob has been a licensed crop insurance agent since 1996 and assists local producers with all their federal crop and hail insurance needs. Bob is life-long resident of Emmet County and recently retired from a career in farming. Bob is married and has three grown children and four grandchildren.
